Refund policy

Scope

This policy applies to products in our collection purchased from the Casa Verderio online store. Bespoke commissions and large custom furniture projects are covered by separate project agreements.

Standard product items — change of mind

We want you to enjoy your items as much as we enjoy making them. For this reason, we offer a 30-day change of mind return window on all standard products in our collection as a goodwill gesture. To be eligible, your item must be:

  • Unused and in its original condition
  • Returned in its original packaging (or equivalent)
  • Accompanied by your order confirmation or receipt (or send us the tracking details via email)

To request a return, email hello@casaverderio.com.au within 30 days of receiving your order. We'll confirm whether the return is accepted and provide the return address and instructions. Please do not send items back without contacting us first.

Return shipping for change of mind returns is at your expense. We recommend using a tracked postal service, as Casa Verderio cannot take responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit on the way back to us.

Custom-sized items — change of mind

Items made to your specified dimensions — such as custom-sized plant stands or frames — are made-to-order and cannot be returned or refunded for change of mind, including if you ordered the wrong size. Please review all dimensions carefully before placing your order.

This exclusion does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law in the event of a fault, damage, or misdescription.

Sale items & gift cards

Items purchased at a sale or discounted price, and gift cards, are not eligible for change of mind returns or refunds. If you have a question about a specific sale item before purchasing, please get in touch — we're happy to help you make the right call.

Your statutory rights under Australian Consumer Law still apply to sale items in the event of a fault, damage, or misdescription.

Damaged, faulty, or incorrectly described items

Please inspect your order upon receipt. If your item arrives damaged, is defective, or doesn't match its description, contact us at hello@casaverderio.com.au as soon as possible with your order details and photos of the issue.

In these cases, we will cover return shipping costs and will offer a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Our voluntary return policy operates alongside — and does not limit — your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a product has a major failure, you are entitled to choose a refund or replacement. For a minor failure, we may choose to repair, replace, or refund at our discretion. Nothing in this policy excludes or restricts these rights.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we'll notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank or card provider to post the funds.
